Unglued unfixed collages a moveable feast

The idea of unfixed unglued collages began when I was at the artists village Cholomandal south of Chennai in Tamil Nadu.......I collected posters from the streets and began to reassemble them on the floor in the studio....a moveable construction....it spread and spread .......I have recently resurrected the idea in my studios in Portugal and the UK....building layers of images at random then Freezing them in the camera ....I like the idea of this ongoing story telling involving collisions and juxtapositions.....chance meetings like the umbrella and the sewing machine......impermanence is important just like posters in the streets that are subject to the elements or in India goats licking the glue......it is short lived information more information is added on a regular basis ...often old information is still visible....the walls have a history .......I am recreating this chance process using posters from both India and Portugal......I am hoping to exhibit some at Kochi Bookshop in Cochin in Kerala.... In 2015....
